KUALA LUMPUR: Southern Score Builders Bhd's unit SJEE Engineering Sdn Bhd has clinched a RM146.5 million subcontract for electrical works at a data centre project.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the company said SJEE was awarded the job by a local construction company to undertake the project's Electrical Package 3 Works (Medium Voltage).

The project commenced on July 27 and is scheduled for completion by Jan 15, 2028.

The company expects the project to contribute to its net assets and earnings per share from the financial year ending June 30, 2027, until completion.

Southern Score Builders has secured four data centre-related contracts worth a combined RM383.05 million so far this year.
